I Wonder if It's The Same

So this is an interesting thing I drew why did I draw Vakama and Ekimu. 

Here's a theory I'm going to propose, what if Vakama is Ekimu.     

Think about it Vakama was a mask maker and he made the Vahi which is apparently half a mask in the temple of time.
Vakama is also the first non-Great being to create a legendary mask.
So could have Vakama gone off the deep end in Time trap,  
broke the mask in half and wiped everyone's memory even Makuta's? maybe even killing some people? and try to create a New World?

Know this raises new questions what happened to his team, why would he do this, why would he give himself a new name and and is he really capable of doing such a thing.

I recommend looking at the story of 2015 and looking back on Vakama's story to get my point. Now I could be talking rubbish or I could actually have just reviewed the twist, who knows.
All I know is that 2015 is apparently a soft reboot meaning that it broke off the original timeline at some point.
